Job Title: Production Operative – Packaging & Granulation

Location: Spondon

Pay: £14.59 per hour (increasing to £17.17 after 12 weeks)

Our client is a global leader in the field of chemistry, providing material solutions used across a wide range of major industries. They are currently seeking Packaging Technicians to support the packaging, granulation and material handling operations on their site.

Working Hours:

• Rotating shifts:
  
  • 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
• Working any 5 days out of 7
• Weekend shifts: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate packaging and granulation equipment
• Support material movement and forklift operations
• Ensure correct labelling and product compliance
• Inspect finished goods before dispatch
• Maintain 5S housekeeping standards
• Monitor materials and stock levels
• Maintain records/logs
• Follow HSE procedures
• Work as part of a team to meet targets

Skills and Experience:

• FLT Counterbalance Licence is desirable
• Previous experience in manufacturing, packaging production, warehouse environments preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Self-motivated with a proactive and flexible approach
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Positive attitude and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
