HGV Class 1 Night Shunter

Pertemps Southampton are looking for a HGV Class 1 Night Shunter to start on an temp to perm contract with our Client in Totton ASAP!

£18ph PAYE
40hrs per week
Times 16:30 – 01:00
5 shifts per Sun/Mon/Tues/Wed/Thur

You will be responsible for:

· Positioning vehicles for loading and unloading (onsite only)
· Hitching and unhitching vehicles, pulling curtains, strapping loads
· Manoeuvring and/or reversing vehicles onto loading ramps in a small yard
· Carrying out vehicle/trailer checks and reporting any defects
· Helping with loading of vehicles and general yard duties (forklift training will be provided)



All Candidates must have:
- Valid UK Driving Licence (Max. 6pts)
- Valid HGV Class 1 Qualification (6 months experience desired)
- Valid CPC/Digi Tacho
- Safety Boots & High Vis (Provided if needed)
