📌 Job Overview 
We are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 Day Driver for ongoing trunking work based in Manchester. This role is ideal for a professional driver looking for reliable daytime shifts, excellent pay, and minimal physical work.

 
🧾 Key Responsibilities 

•  Day-shift Class 1 (C+E) trunking
  
  

•  Completing 1–3 drops per shift
  
  

•  Drop & go only – no handball involved
  
  

•  Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
  
  

•  Completing paperwork in line with WTD and driving regulations
  
  

•  Representing the client professionally at all times
  
  

 

 
✔️ Requirements 

•  Minimum 2 years’ HGV Class 1 (C+E) experience
  
  

•  Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
  
  

•  Maximum 6 points on licence (no DD/DR/IN endorsements)
  
  

•  Punctual, reliable, and professional
  
  

•  Good communication skills
