Job Description

Service Administrator
Our manufacturing client based in the Shropshire countryside is looking for a full time temporary – permanent service administrator to join their busy operations in the servicing department.

You will be responsible for the administration and key responsibilities contributing to the effective and smooth running of day-to-day operations. You will work in collaboration with the Service Co-ordinator, Technical Support and Service Manager to ensure that the company meets and exceeds customer’s expectations.

In addition, you will be managing the upkeep of the service engineer schedule and workload using outlook and field service software, booking of visits to customer sites as requested by Service Coordinator/Technical Support, arranging hotel bookings and travel arrangements including visas for overseas work if required.

Making sure Risk Assessments Method Statements, and Insurance details are raised and jobs and distributed to Site Engineers and customers ahead of attendance, also ensuring parts required for service works are ordered and if required shipped to site location. You will be processing the Engineers hours and expenses, logging of all customer calls and emails on service software and referring calls to the appropriate departments to deal with the issue. Including raising, quotations, orders, Purchase Requisitions, and parts return requests and liaising with Purchasing on costings of parts.

Ideal Candidate
• Previous experience in an office environment
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise workload
• Experience with Microsoft office products including outlook, excel and teams (Desirable)
• Ability to communicate confidently with all stakeholders across all levels
• Ability to work as part of a team and establish good working relationships
• A strong customer focus with the ability to understand the customer’s requirements
• To contribute to continuous improvement in current work practices

Hours
Your contracted hours of work will be 8.30am - 5.00pm from Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4.00pm on Friday with 30 minutes for lunch. – 39 Hours

Salary
£12.82 per hour
