About the Role:

We at Pertemps are seeking an experienced CNC Operative with solid knowledge of CNC milling machines to join our client . The ideal candidate will be skilled in operating milling machines, performing routine maintenance checks. Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately from technical drawings are essential.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Operate CNC milling machines efficiently and safely
  
  
• Perform health and safety checks to ensure compliance with company and industry standards
  
  
• Carry out routine maintenance and machine checks to maintain optimal performance
  
  
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
  
  
• Use gauges and measurement tools to ensure precision and quality of finished parts
  
  
• Report any machine faults or safety concerns promptly
  
  

 

Requirements:

 

• Proven experience working with CNC milling machines
  
  
• Strong understanding of health and safety protocols related to CNC machining
  
  
• Competent in carrying out maintenance and basic troubleshooting
  
  
• Experience reading and working from engineering drawings
  
  
• Proficient in using gauges and measurement equipment to ensure accuracy
  
  
• Detail-oriented with excellent manual dexterity
  
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
