Electrician's mate

Pertemps West Bromwich are currently recruiting for an Electrician's Mate to join our dynamic team at a Multi-National Construction company, based in Oldbury. 
  
Specialising in prefab modules including plant boiler package systems, riser modules, shower, and bathroom pods for various private and commercial contracts such as hotels, accommodation, schools, prisons, and hospital etc. 
  
Skills and Requirements: 
-Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components 
-Previous experience is beneficial 
-Strong work ethic and willingness to learn from experienced Electricians 
-Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team 
-Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with team members 
-A focus on safety and the ability to identify and mitigate potential hazards 
  
Duties include (but not limited to): 
-Assist Electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment 
-Perform tasks such as running wires, connecting outlets, switches, and fixtures under guidance 
-Prepare materials and tools required for various electrical projects 
-Maintain a clean and organised work environment to ensure safety and efficiency 
-Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and the team 
-Collaborate with Electricians and other team members to complete projects on time with high quality 
-Continuously learn and develop your skills in the electrical field 
  
This work is on a large offsite facility offering excellent working conditions. 
  
Hours of Work: 
Monday - Thursday 07:30am - 16:00pm 
Friday 07:30am - 13:00pm 
  
Pay Rate: 
  
PAYE - £13.24 - £13.54 per hour 
CIS - £17.20 per hour
