Chemical Process Operator 2025

Pertemps are currently recruiting a Chemical Process Operator to join a well-established manufacturing team in Oldbury. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work with chemical processes in a busy, production-focused environment, with full training provided and opportunities for career growth.

Job Role:

• Operate reactors and vessels within a chemical processing environment.
• Handle raw materials, including transferring frozen substances into drums.
• Monitor and control temperatures to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Follow strict safety procedures to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
• Maintain accurate records of materials and equipment maintenance.

What We’re Looking For:

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn - no prior experience needed, as full training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
• FLT Counterbalance experience required.

Shift Pattern & Pay:

• 4 on, 4 off rotation: 2 days (6am–6pm), 2 nights (6pm–6am), followed by 4 days off.
• £14.37 per hour.
