Semi-Auto / Auto Saw Operative

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a reliable and skilled Semi-Automatic / Automatic Saw Operative to join a busy production environment working with non-ferrous metals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting and programming semi-automatic and automatic saws
• Setting gauges and working to precise measurements
• Using vernier callipers to measure accurately
• Cutting materials to required lengths
• General workshop duties including handling and moving metals
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

• Experience operating saws in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Ability to read measurements and use verniers accurately
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good work ethic and reliability

Hours of Work:
Monday – Thursday
7am – 16:45pm

Pay:
£14 - £14.50 per hour

Immediate starts available for the successful candidate
This is a temporary to permanent position
