CNC Operator – Milling Experience Required


Pay: Up to £19 per hour (depending on experience)
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 16:00
Location: Marston Green


We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Operator with strong milling experience to join a precision engineering environment. This role is ideal for a skilled individual who takes pride in quality, accuracy, and safe working practices.


Key Responsibilities:

Operating CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components.
Loading and unloading components and setting tools where required.
Monitoring milling and machining processes to ensure parts meet specification.
Carrying out in-process inspection using measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers, and gauges.
Making basic offsets and adjustments to maintain tight tolerances.
Reading and working from engineering drawings.
Ensuring CNC milling machines run efficiently with minimal downtime.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised working area.
Adhering to all health & safety and quality procedures.


What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience operating CNC milling machines
• Strong understanding of milling processes, machining techniques, and tolerances
• Ability to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings
• High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality
• Reliable, motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
