Are you an experienced CNC Sliding Head Programmer looking to join a well-established precision engineering company?

We’re seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator to join our growing team in Dudley. This is a hands-on role working on sliding head lathes with Fanuc controls, producing high-precision components to exacting customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program, set, and operate sliding head CNC machines (Fanuc controls)
• Interpret engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances
• Conduct self-inspection to ensure quality and accuracy
• Work independently with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes
• Report tooling requirements and maintain a clean, organised workspace
• Follow health & safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment
• Participate in training and development as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience programming and setting sliding head CNC machines
• Strong working knowledge of Fanuc controls
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings
• High attention to detail with a proactive attitude
• Good understanding of precision engineering practices
