Salary: DOE + Commission


Role Overview:
Our client, a well-established and reputable Lettings agency with decades of industry experience, is seeking a Lettings Negotiator to join their busy office in Cardiff. This is a full-time, office-based position ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for property.

As a Lettings Negotiator, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties, from conducting viewings to generating new business. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience and a strong understanding of the Cardiff area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate Leads & Business: Proactively chase leads and identify new business opportunities.
  • Conduct Property Viewings: Show properties to prospective tenants and provide all necessary information.
  • Liaise with Landlords: Confirm new rentals with landlords both verbally and in writing.
  • Complete Paperwork: Ensure all lettings documentation is completed accurately and in line with company policy.
  • Professional Communication: Maintain a high level of customer service when dealing with landlords and tenants.
  • Meet Targets: Work to meet and exceed monthly rental targets.
  • Expand Portfolio: Grow the lettings and management portfolio by securing new landlords.
  • Property Valuations: Carry out accurate rental valuations and provide advice in line with legislation and company policy.
  • Manage Diary & Viewings: Coordinate viewings efficiently, ensuring appropriate notice is given to current tenants.
Requirements:
  •  knowledge of Cardiff and its surrounding areas.
  • License: Full, clean UK driving licence required. Own vehicle preferable.
  • Certification: Rent Smart Wales License preferred but not essential.
Skills:
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Target-driven mindset with a proactive approach.
  • Excellent time and diary management.
  • Competent with Microsoft Excel and property database software.
