Location: Buckley with travel across North Wales
Salary: £42,662
Assignment length: 12 month assignment
Working pattern: Hybrid working with a mix of office, site work and home working


Are you a Chartered Surveyor looking for a role where your work genuinely makes a difference?

We are recruiting for a Land Management Surveyor to join a well established environmental organisation, playing a key role in managing land and property assets across North Wales. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a team that helps protect and enhance the natural environment while delivering real value through effective land management.

This role offers excellent variety, combining office based work, field work and home working. You will cover sites across the North Wales region, giving you the chance to work on a wide range of projects in diverse environments.

 
The role
You will provide specialist land and property advice, supporting the delivery of land management and forest operations projects. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you will help ensure land assets are managed efficiently, sustainably and in line with organisational goals.

 
Key responsibilities include:
  • Planning and managing projects to meet time, cost and quality targets.
  • Identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve value.
  • Managing risks and supporting decision making.
  • Negotiating agreements and working with legal documentation.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Supporting strategic planning and policy development.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across a range of projects.
  • Ensuring health and safety standards are met.
 
About you
  • Full Chartered membership of RICS.
  • Experience in property or land management within public or private sector settings.
  • Strong experience working with legal agreements and land related matters.
  • Good understanding of relevant legislation and property frameworks.
  • Ability to analyse complex issues and develop practical solutions.
  • Experience working with a range of professionals across different disciplines.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Additional information
  • This role requires travel across North Wales.
  • You will be based from the Buckley office with flexible hybrid working.
  • You may be required to support incident response activities.
  • A DBS check will be required.
