URGENT – Class 2 (Cat C) HGV Driver Required – Leicester
 Immediate Start – Monday 5:00 AM

 
Pertemps are urgently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 (Cat C) HGV Driver for a Monday start based in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work with the potential to become temp-to-perm after a successful 4-week trial period.

 
📅 Schedule 

•  Monday to Thursday – Stay-outs required
  
  

•  Return Friday afternoon
  
  

•  Early starts (5:00 AM)
  
  

•  Paid while on stay-outs
  
  

•  Parking allowance provided
  
  

•  £25 food allowance if parking does not provide meals
  
  

 

 
🚚 The Role 

•  Driving an 18t curtain-sided vehicle
  
  

•  Multi-drop deliveries
  
  

•  Signing and completing paperwork
  
  

•  Using CX app for deliveries
  
  

•  Operating a pump truck when required
  
  

•  Close and go deliveries
  
  

•  No handballing required (only in worst-case scenarios)
  
  

•  Vehicle checks and compliance with Drivers’ Hours & WTD regulations
  
  

 

 
✅ Requirements 

•  Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence
  
  

•  Minimum 1 year Class 2 driving experience
  
  

•  Maximum 3 points on licence
  
  

•  Valid CPC & Digi Tacho
  
  

•  DVLA check required
  
  

•  Safety boots
  
  

•  Good understanding of Drivers’ Hours regulations
  
  

•  Reliable and professional attitude
