A well-established architectural practice with a 25 year track record is looking for an Architect or experienced Part 2 to join its team. The practice delivers high quality projects across education, healthcare, and public service sectors, including hospital refurbishments, colleges, and innovative sustainable developments.

The studio has a talented team, and a reputation for delivering successful projects. The practice has recently modernised its operations, ensuring a professional and efficient working environment.

You will have the opportunity to work across a wide variety of projects and take on increasing responsibility. Candidates can range from newly qualified architects to experienced Part 2s with several years post qualification experience, up to senior architect level. There is genuine scope for career progression, including potential leadership opportunities in the coming years.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and refine design concepts from initial brief through to detailed design
  • Prepare and coordinate architectural drawings, specifications, and schedules for planning, technical approval, and construction stages
  • Undertake site visits, surveys, and inspections, ensuring designs are executed correctly and in line with regulations
  • Coordinate with structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers, as well as other consultants, to ensure integrated design solutions
  • Engage with clients, presenting designs and advising on materials, planning requirements, and sustainability considerations
  • Oversee construction administration, including reviewing contractor submissions, responding to queries, and ensuring compliance with quality standards
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and practice development
 Key Requirements:
  • Newly qualified architect or experienced Part 2 (all levels considered) with UK based experience
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit experience advantageous
  • Strong design and technical skills across multiple sectors
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ambition to take on increased responsibility and potential leadership
