Senior Civil Engineer – Highway & Below-Ground Drainage
Location: Cambridge

Our client, a leading civil engineering and transport firm, is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their Cambridge team, delivering high-value highway and drainage projects. This role offers hands-on responsibility and the chance to lead complex infrastructure schemes.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Lead design and engineering for highway and below-ground drainage projects across residential, commercial, and industrial developments.
Manage projects ranging from £10M to £100M in construction value.
Provide technical guidance on complex civil engineering challenges, from land development to multi-unit residential sites.
Collaborate with architects, planners, and contractors to ensure projects meet quality, schedule, and budget requirements.

What We’re Looking For:

Strong Civil 3D experience – this will be your core design tool.
Proficiency with Flow/Costway and AutoCAD.
Experience delivering large-scale building, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
Background in land development or interest in residential and mixed-use schemes.
Proven ability to manage complex designs and mentor junior engineers.
