Parcel Sorter

Pertemps Lincoln are currently recruiting for Parcel Sorters to work for our client based in North Hykeham, Lincoln.
 
This role offers regular hours across 5 shifts in a 7-day period, which can include weekends. You’ll be working within a friendly and fast-paced warehouse team, helping to keep parcels moving efficiently through the network
 
What will I be doing as a Parcel Sorter?

• Sorting parcels by postcode and placing them in the correct locations for dispatch
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
• Scanning, labelling, and checking parcels for accuracy
• Keeping your work area clean, tidy, and safe
• Working as part of a team to ensure targets and deadlines are met

 
What skills and experience do I need?

• Previous warehouse or parcel sorting experience is helpful, but not essential – full training provided
• Good attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Positive attitude and solid work ethic

 
What hours will I be working?
5 shifts over 7 days (including potential weekend work)
Choose either:

• Afternoon shift: 14:00 – 22:30
• Night shift: 17:00 – 01:00

 
What will I be paid?

• £12.21 per hour for hours worked between 14:00 and 21:59
• £13.73 per hour for hours worked between 22:00 and 06:00
