We’re working with a well-established and growing site based near Carlisle, offering a full-time, permanent opportunity for a Machine Operator to join their team. This is a business that prides itself on stability, strong values, and investing in its people for the long term, not just filling short-term gaps.
If you’re someone who wants consistency, progression, and a workplace that feels like more than just a job, this could be exactly what you’ve been looking for.
The Role:
  • Location – Armathwaite, Near Carlisle
  • Shift Pattern – 4 on/4 off (Rotational)
  • Hours – 06:00 – 18:00 and 18:00 – 06:00
  • Salary – Up to £40,000
What it’s like to work here
From the moment you step on site, you’ll notice the difference. This is a place where:
  • Teamwork is key – you’re never just a number, you’re part of a close-knit team
  • Quality matters – the work you do has real impact, and high standards are valued
  • People come first – it’s a supportive, respectful, and family-oriented environment
This isn’t just about operating machinery, it’s about being part of something bigger.
The Role – What you’ll be doing
As a Machine Operator, you’ll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently. Your day-to-day will include:
  • Operating machinery safely and efficiently in line with site procedures
  • Carrying out routine checks and basic maintenance on equipment
  • Monitoring production processes to ensure quality standards are met
  • Identifying any issues and reporting them promptly
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Every day brings variety, responsibility, and the chance to make a real difference.
What we’re looking for
We’re keen to speak with candidates who:
  • Have previous experience operating machinery (any relevant industry considered)
  • Valid Driving Licence
  • Work well as part of a team and support those around them
  • Have a strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
  • Are reliable, committed, and take pride in producing quality work
Whether you’re highly experienced or looking to build on your current skills, attitude and mindset are just as important as experience.
 Why you’ll love this opportunity
  • Be part of a friendly, supportive team where everyone looks out for each other
  • Work in a business that values your contribution and recognises hard work
  • Enjoy a stable, long-term opportunity with real growth potential
  • Experience a workplace that genuinely feels like a team, not just a job
