We’re looking for experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers from the Lancashire area to join our client’s professional logistics team based in Carlisle. For drivers travelling from outside the local area, hotel accommodation in Carlisle is provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 1 vehicles for deliveries and collections
• Complete vehicle checks before and after each shift
• Ensure on-time deliveries and compliance with transport regulations
• Keep accurate records and paperwork
• Represent the company in a professional and customer-focused manner

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence – minimum 6 months’ experience
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good knowledge of UK road transport regulations
• Clean driving record (minimal infringements)
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
