Class 1 Night Driver

Immediate Start. Shifts begin at Midnight, standard 8-9 hour shifts guaranteed, one straight run from depot to depot, either to Warrington or Glasgow, from the base in Cockermouth.
 
Our client is a much-loved Cumbrian business,  a quality supplier of fresh produce, fresh meat, and dry ingredients, who have been successfully growing year on year. 
 
About the Class 1 Night Driver role;

You will be responsible for delivering fresh produce to other depots north and south of the country. The run you would be covering is either South, from Cockermouth to Warrington, or North from Cockermouth to Glasgow. Trailers will be ready when you arrive to site to pick up and go. Shifts are 8-9 hours long.
 
As a Class 1 Driver, you will be an integral part of the business. We are looking for drivers with a ‘can-do & friendly’ attitude. You will be responsible for maintaining the security of the load and the condition of the vehicle. 

 Requirements for a Class 1 Night Driver include:

• All candidates must hold their Class 1 licence. Will accept new passes but experience would be preferred.
• Valid in-date CPC & Tacho
• No more than 6 points on licence (licence checks will apply)
• No more than 15 Tacho infringements.
