Pay: £21.57 – £24.61 per hour

Pertemps is proud to be working in partnership with Royal Mail to recruit professional HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for their Distribution Centre in Swindon.

Whether you’re available for one shift a week or four, we want to hear from you. This is ongoing agency work with regular, year-round shifts — ideal if you value flexibility and strong hourly rates.

🚛 The Role

• Trunking parcels and mail between Royal Mail depots nationwide
• No multi-drop deliveries
• Very minimal manual handling
• Clean, modern vehicles
• Shifts planned and issued one week in advance

Straightforward trunking work, allowing you to focus on safe and professional driving.

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence (held minimum 2 years)
• At least 6 months’ commercial driving experience (insurance requirement)
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 5 minor penalty points (no DD, DR, IN, CD or TT endorsements)
• Strong geographical knowledge and professional attitude
• Good understanding of Drivers’ Hours and WTD regulations
• Confident completing manual tachograph entries
• Ability to pass a DBS security check
• Completion of site assessment and induction prior to first shift
