CNC Miller

Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Skilled CNC Miller/Programmer to join a busy and fast-paced manufacturing environment in Exhall!


 This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled machinist who can programme, set, and operate CNC milling machines, with a strong focus on precision and quality!

 
Key Responsibilities:

• Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines

• Offline programming (experience with ONECNC preferred – training can be provided)

• Producing mainly one-off components

• Inspecting and checking own work using measuring equipment (bore micrometers, micrometers, depth mics, etc.)

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

• Working to tight tolerances with high attention to detail

• Meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Operating predominantly HAAS machinery

• Maintaining excellent health & safety standards at all times

 

Requirements:

• Proven experience in CNC milling (programming, setting, operating)

• Strong understanding of engineering drawings

• High level of accuracy and quality focus

• Ability to work independently and manage workload

Hours of Work:

• Monday to Thursday: 6:45am – 4:00pm (30-minute lunch break)

• Friday: 6:45am – 11:45am

• Overtime available as required

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary negotiable depending on experience
• Paid every 4 weeks
• 26 days holiday
