Pertemps are looking for a Transport Resource Planner to support daily logistics operations and ensure smooth coordination between warehousing and distribution activities.

Main duties of this Transport Resource Planner role:

• Assisting the Transport Planners with creating effective, cost-efficient transport schedules
• Communicating with drivers and customers to coordinate delivery details
• Maintaining and updating operational reports
• Troubleshooting delivery issues and providing prompt resolutions
• Keeping transport plans current and accurate throughout the day
• Supporting with general administrative tasks as needed

Skills required for this Transport Resource Planner role:

• Has a strong background in administration and customer service
• Brings previous experience working in a transport-related role (essential)
• Ideally has prior experience in a transport office environment
• Possesses solid knowledge of UK geography
• Is confident using IT systems; experience with transport management systems is a plus
• Has strong general computer literacy and attention to detail
