Job Description

Banking and Finance Solicitor, 4+ Years PQE, Birmingham, £75,000+ (DOE) – Work with major UK and international banks, financial institutions, and a diverse client base across industries. JOB REF:9824.

THE ROLE:
• Lead and manage complex transactions in asset-based lending and broader banking matters.
• Draft and negotiate facility agreements, security documents, and intercreditor arrangements (LMA and non-LMA).
• Collaborate closely with litigation, restructuring, and corporate teams to deliver holistic client solutions.
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers, supporting their development.
• Engage in client development initiatives and help shape the growth of the local team.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
• A minimum of 4 Years PQE experience in banking and finance law.
• Confident advising lenders and borrowers, and managing a varied caseload.
• Comfortable taking initiative and assuming responsibility in a fast-paced, client-facing role.
• A team player with a commercial outlook and strong communication skills.
