Employment Solicitor, NQ – 3 PQE, Leeds, £35,000 to £50,000 (DOE). This is a hybrid role working three days from the office and two days from home, following completion of the successful candidate’s probationary period. The role is likely of interest to Employment Solicitors that are NQ – 3 years PQE with experience of employment claimant work and with good knowledge of the employment tribunal process. EMPLOYMENT SOLICITOR:
The role will mainly involve managing a caseload of employment matters and advising clients in relation to settlement agreements under the supervision of a Partner. The successful solicitor will be organised and methodical. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential, as is the ability to work quickly and efficiently to ensure deadlines are met and our excellent client care standards are maintained. You will also be friendly, professional and able to explain technical legal detail with clear and confident communication, both verbally and in writing. Key tasks will include, running a case load of client matters under supervision, dealing with matters at all stages, from taking the client’s initial instructions through to archiving, in accordance with office and accounts procedures, billing files and obtaining monies due to the firm from the clients and other parties, providing support to other fee earners in the Employment department and advising on the terms and effect of settlement agreements.
