Working Pattern: Ideally office-based (minimum 3 days in office, 2 remote)

A well-established regional firm is seeking a senior lawyer to join its busy Commercial Department, with a view to playing a key role in its future development. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious solicitor to step into a leadership role and shape the future of the department.

The Opportunity:
• Work with a strong existing client base while also having the freedom to develop your own
• Commercial Property focused caseload including leases, acquisitions/disposals, and landlord & tenant work
• Real opportunity to lead and influence the direction of the department
• The role is open across any of the firm’s Devon-based offices; however, it could suit someone looking to develop and grow a client base in that region

Ideal Candidate:
• 5+ years PQE in commercial property law
• Confident managing a broad caseload independently
• Strong business development skills and a desire to take on a more strategic role
• Previous experience supervising junior staff or contributing to team development is desirable
• Someone seeking a long-term position with partnership potential
