Job Description

FAMILY SOLICITOR, 3+ PQE, WEST YORKSHIRE, UP TO £70,000. This role offers the potential to progress to Head of Department, with excellent support and career development opportunities. JOB REF: 1382

•You will manage a broad range of family and childcare law matters, including care proceedings and PLO cases, private law children disputes, and applications for domestic abuse, non-molestation, and occupation orders.

•Your work will also cover divorce and financial remedies, as well as wider family law issues such as disputes involving unmarried couples and cohabitation.

•Applications are open to candidates with 3+ years’ PQE in family/childcare law who are confident working independently or as part of a team, with strong advocacy skills and the ability to represent clients in hearings.

•Experience in managing or generating your own caseload (a following desirable), knowledge of legal aid alongside private work, and ambition to achieve panel accreditation and future leadership are also valued.

•The role offers a competitive base salary, hybrid working with a flexible home-office split, 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, and ongoing training, career development, mentoring, and supervision.
