JOB TITLE: Senior Residential Property Lawyer (Legal Director)
PQE REQUIRED: 8+
LOCATION: Oxfordshire
SALARY: Excellent + Benefits

THE ROLE:
A well-established and respected residential real estate team is seeking an experienced senior Residential Property Lawyer to join its Oxfordshire office. The team acts for private UK buyers and sellers as well as overseas clients and is panel-appointed by a number of leading mortgage lenders. You will handle a varied caseload of residential property matters including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, reviewing and drafting contracts and associated documentation, managing exchange and completion processes, and overseeing post-completion formalities including land registry requirements. The role will also involve advising on mortgage redemptions, transfers of equity, re-mortgages, secured lending matters, residential tenancy and licence arrangements and transactions relating to new developments. Working as part of a wider cross-office real estate practice, you will be embedded within the Oxfordshire team, building strong and lasting client relationships while benefiting from the support of a broader national platform. Hybrid working is supported, typically with two to three days in the office depending on business needs.

THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will be an established Residential Property Lawyer operating at Senior Associate or Legal Director level, with a strong general property background. You will demonstrate excellent client and matter management skills, commercial awareness and the confidence to manage your own caseload independently. A track record of contributing to practice development and business growth will be advantageous. Strong communication skills, IT proficiency and a proactive, self-motivated approach are essential.

THE FIRM:
This is a firm recognised for the strength of its real estate offering and its collaborative culture. You will join a supportive and thriving team that provides an excellent platform for further technical and commercial development, while promoting a sustainable work/life balance and long-term career progression.

PACKAGE:
Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, alongside flexible hybrid working arrangements and clear opportunities for progression within a dynamic and forward-thinking team.
