Job Title: Production Operative

Location: Solihull

Salary: £12.25 – £13.50 per hour (DOE)


 We are seeking an experienced and dependable Production Operative to join a thriving manufacturing team in Solihull. This role requires strong sewing skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

 
Start Date: Likely to be early January 2026, however interviews will be arranged ASAP for suitable candidates.

 
 Hours of Work 

•  07:00 – 03:00

•  Includes a 30-minute unpaid break and a 15-minute paid tea break
  
  

 
 Key Responsibilities 

•  Operate industrial sewing machinery to produce high-quality stitched components

•  Work with a range of production equipment, including flatbeds, ASP, CCP, BCP, and PPS

•  Accurately cut fabric in line with measurements, templates, and production specifications

•  Follow detailed patterns, instructions, and quality standards

•  Complete basic numerical tasks such as measuring, counting, and calculating allowances

•  Conduct quality checks on finished products

•  Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment

•  Contribute effectively to team targets and production deadlines
  
  

 
 Requirements 

•  Experience using sewing machinery is essential

•  Soft furnishing sewing experience is advantageous

•  Pattern matching experience is a bonus

•  Good numerical skills

•  Strong team player with good communication skills

•  Excellent attention to detail

•  Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
