Salary: £47,000 – £53 ,000

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Location: Glasgow



The Role



An established organisation in Glasgow is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead and develop its HR function. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting the organisation’s people strategy and helping to create a positive and high-performing workplace.

Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will oversee the full HR remit including employee relations, organisational change, learning and development, payroll oversight and health and safety. You will ensure HR practices are efficient, compliant and aligned with organisational priorities.

You will work closely with senior leaders and managers to provide strategic HR guidance and deliver initiatives that support employee engagement, organisational effectiveness and a positive workplace culture.



Key Responsibilities

 

    • Develop and implement HR strategies that support organisational change, employee engagement and workforce development.

    • Manage complex employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance and performance matters.

    • Build and maintain positive relationships with employees and trade unions, supporting consultation and negotiation where required.

    • Provide strategic advice on organisational change, workforce planning and organisational development.

    • Support the implementation and development of HR systems and processes to improve efficiency and service delivery.

    • Oversee payroll processes and ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.

    • Ensure appropriate health and safety processes are in place, including regular audits and risk assessments.

    • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to support organisational objectives.

    • Undertake other duties appropriate to the role as required.
