The successful candidate will play a vital role within our expanding Rental Operations team. The role involves supporting our busy rental programme, alongside providing operational assistance across maintenance, logistics, and customer support functions.


The Rental Operations team supports over 200 customers requiring both short- and long-term hire vehicles. You will be responsible for assessing each request and placing bookings with suppliers who best meet customer requirements, based on factors such as price, location, and vehicle availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Placing rental bookings for cars, vans, and HGVs with a wide network of UK suppliers
• Liaising with customers to resolve queries promptly and professionally
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers to support business growth
• Managing vehicle-related administration, including fines and damage processes
• Overseeing rental platforms (Epyx 1-Link and our proprietary booking system)
• Supporting the Maintenance Control team with downtime management and rental coordination
• Acting as an escalation point for customer service matters across the business
• Managing company-wide customer service systems
• Collaborating with colleagues to strengthen supplier relationships
• Processing hire vehicle invoices, authorising supplier invoices, and managing customer recharges
