Job Title: MIG/TIG Welder Fabricator (Pipe Welding Experience)

Salary: From £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: 39 hours per week

Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Friday: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM

20-minute paid morning break

30-minute unpaid lunch break

Job Overview
A busy and growing fabrication unit in Bromsgrove is looking for an experienced MIG/TIG Welder Fabricator with strong pipe welding experience. The role involves working on a wide range of mild steel designs, with some stainless steel work. Ideal for a welder who takes pride in clean, high-quality finishes and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welding and fabricating mild steel pipe (3”–12” O/D, 6–10 mm wall thickness)
• Occasional stainless steel shell welding (8”–16” O/D, 10s wall thickness)
• Interpreting and working from engineering drawings
• Producing neat, aesthetically pleasing welds suitable for painting
• Maintaining high safety and quality standards

Requirements

• Strong MIG and TIG pipe welding experience
• Ability to read engineering and fabrication drawings
• High attention to detail and clean weld finishes
• Coded welding experience preferred (not essential)
• Safety-conscious and reliable team player
