Warehouse Operative 

Location : Robertsbridge
Pay: £12.21 – £13.50 per hour
Job Type: Temporary, ongoing


We are currently seeking dedicated Warehouse Operatives to support a busy, fast‑paced site in Robertsbridge. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large and well‑established organisation that relies on a flexible team to cover holiday, sickness, and increased demand throughout the year. As a Warehouse Operative, you will work on a rotating shift pattern, including both days and nights, so adaptability is essential.


Please note: The site cannot be reached by public transport or on foot. You must hold a valid driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.


Key Responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:

• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
• Ensuring goods are handled, stored, and secured correct
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and compliant with safety standards
• Following all site safety rules and operational procedures
• Operating the weighbridge system and accurately recording vehicle weight
• Overseeing site access from the gatehouse, checking vehicles in and out
• Supporting site security processes and maintaining accurate logs
• Assisting drivers and visitors with site entry requirements

To be successful in the Warehouse Operative role, you should have:

• Experience in warehousing, distribution, weighbridge, or loading bay work (desirable but not essential)
• Good physical fitness and comfort with manual handling tasks
• Strong attention to detail and reliable work habits
• Confident communication skills and a professional attitude
• Flexibility to work rotating day and night shifts
• Your own transport due to the remote location
