Factory Operative

Are you a hands-on individual looking to learn a new trade? Pertemps are currently seeking a motivated and practical Factory Operative to join a reputable manufacturing company. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys varied work, wants to gain new skills, and is eager to be part of a supportive and busy environment. This job has the potential for the right candidate to become a permenant position. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out a variety of factory-based tasks including:
  
  • Picking and packing orders
  • Data entry and stock control
  • Supporting machine setters and the warehouse manager
  • Forklift Truck (FLT) operations
  • Assisting with machine setting (training provided)
• Work with the SAP system (experience desirable but not essential)
• Occasionally liaise with customers regarding order queries
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment

What We’re Looking For:

• A practical, hands-on person with a willingness to learn
• No previous experience required – full training will be provided
• Computer literate and comfortable using software systems
• Good attention to detail and ability to take in and retain information
• FLT license and SAP experience are a plus, but not essential
• Excellent team player with good communication skills
