HGV Class 1 Driver – Tramper Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £42,000 per year

My client is seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver to join their team. If you have a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for professional driving, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle in full compliance with traffic laws and company regulations
• Transport goods and materials efficiently and securely to various destinations
• Plan routes and ensure timely deliveries while considering traffic, weather, and load requirements
• Complete thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
• Deliver excellent customer service, handling any queries in a professional and courteous manner

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence
• Up-to-date CPC
• Previous HGV driving experience (preferably in a similar role)
• Clean driving record with no serious convictions or accidents
• Strong understanding of road safety regulations and traffic laws
• Excellent attention to detail and time management
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to undertake up to 5 nights out in the vehicle when required

Experience (preferred):

• HGV Class 1 Driving: 1 year

Licence/Certification:

• Driver CPC (required/preferred depending on experience)
• Full UK Driving Licence
