Mechanical Fitter

Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a leading precision engineering business based in Andover. This will be a 2-month contract with an immediate start date.

Mechanical Fitter Responsibilities:
- Assembly and fitting of mechanical components and systems from engineering drawings
- Routine maintenance and fault-finding
- Installation and testing of mechanical systems in a factory/workshop or on-site setting
- Working from detailed technical drawings, schematics, and manuals

Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering/Fitting
- Proven experience in a mechanical fitting role (Manufacturing environment)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence (for site-based work)
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic system
- A keen attention to detail.

The Mechanical Fitter Role:
- Immediate Start
- Based in Andover
- Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm and Friday 8am - 1pm
- £20 - £25 per hour depending on experience
