Pertemps are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client – a leading social housing provider in the South West – for a talented Payroll Assistant to join their friendly and supportive People and Culture team.

In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time, all while supporting continuous improvement within the payroll function. What we’re looking for:
We’re seeking a confident and capable payroll professional who can hit the ground running. The ideal candidate will:

• Have proven experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume payroll position
• Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Be confident managing their own workload and working to tight deadlines
• Have a solid understanding of payroll systems and data management
• Be tech-savvy, with strong working knowledge of MS365

Location: Based in Crownhill, Plymouth with a hybrid working arrangement (a mix of home and office-based working, not fully remote). The office is just three miles from the city centre and easily accessible by public transport.
