They are on the lookout for a proactive and driven Logistics Assistant Manager to join their Head Office team in Plymouth. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love turning data into action, this is your chance to make a real impact.

As Logistics Assistant Manager, you’ll be the right hand to the Logistics Manager, helping lead a high-performing team and streamlining operations across the business. From onboarding new talent to driving process improvements, your work will be central to keeping our logistics engine running smoothly.

  Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily logistics operations, delegate tasks, and monitor team performance
  • Deliver onboarding and ongoing training to build a skilled, confident team
  • Identify inefficiencies and help implement smarter, faster processes
  • Act as a communication hub between departments and stores
  • Manage extranet accounts and respond to internal/external queries
  • Maintain and distribute key promotional and locational data
  • Collaborate on cross-functional projects with Buying, Supply Chain, Imports, Visual Merchandising, and Data Science
  • Coordinate new store setups and ensure logistics readiness
  • Keep internal systems accurate and up to date
  • Use data tools to track stock levels, deliveries, and performance
  • Analyse KPIs and generate reports to support decision-making
  
What You’ll Bring
  • Strong Excel skills (Microsoft Office proficiency is essential)
  • SQL or similar programming knowledge is a plus
  • Business-related degree desirable but not essential (we’ll train you!)
  • Experience in management or data-led roles is beneficial
  • Sharp analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Calm under pressure with a keen eye for detail

Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:45am – 17:30pm Location: Plymouth, Devon  Contract: Permanent (Temp-Perm), Full-time
