Assistant Accountant

Sheridan Maine are pleased to be partnering with a reputable business in Basingstoke to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis.

This varied position will be responsible for:

• End to end purchase and sales ledger processes
• Cashflow forecasting
• Bank and statement reconciliations
• Supporting month end duties including accruals, prepayments & journals
• Producing financial reports for management
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Assisting with year end duties including audit information

The client is seeking an AAT/ACCA/CIMA studier and will provide full study support. You must have prior experience within accounts payable and receivable and be motivated to take on more responsibility as the role progresses.
Excellent communication and relationship building skills will be essential, and strong organisational and time management skills will be required.
