Sheridan Maine is looking for a skilled Accounts Senior to join a dynamic accounting practice in Surrey. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a diverse client base and progress your accounting career in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities.
  • Prepare and review statutory accounts for a variety of clients.
  • Manage bookkeeping and ensure accuracy in client financial records.
  • Assist with VAT returns and other compliance matters.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to obtain information and resolve queries.
  • Support the preparation of management accounts and financial reports.
  • Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance.
  • Ensure all deadlines are met with high-quality work.

What we’re looking for.
  • Part-qualified or fully qualified ACCA, ACA, or CIMA.
  • Strong experience in accounts preparation and client management.
  • Good knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
