Job Description
Lead and manage field operations to ensure the safety, performance, and efficiency of both Thames Water teams and contractor resources.
You’ll oversee the delivery of critical operational activities within your designated area or function, maintaining high standards of service and minimising customer impact.
What you’ll be doing as an Area Network Manager?
- Lead the control and audit of site activity, ensuring the safety of the team, contractors and other third parties through the consistent application of company's Health & Safety policy.
- Lead, manage and develop staff.
- Deliver operational performance through the performance management of staff. (Thames Water and contractor)
- Meet and exceed tight financial targets while maintaining quality.
- Deliver increasing levels of customer experience.
Base location: Hybrid – Hammersmith - W6 9RS. Travel to additional sites is required.
Working pattern or hours: 36 Hours per week, Monday to Friday.
What you should bring to the role?
To thrive in this role, the essential criteria you’ll need is:
- Good leadership experience, capability and vision.
- Current Health & Safety management competence.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to deliver against operational targets.
- Sound business knowledge and commercial acumen.
- Previous experience with first-line management in a similar role.
- Full UK Driving licence.
Additional skills and experiences would be great to have/bring:
- Degree/HNC level education preferably or equivalent experience
