Job Description

Hours: 40 hours per week (7:30am – 4:30pm Mon–Thu; 7:30am – 2:00pm Fri)

Our client is a world-class manufacturer of aluminium based structures and glazed framework. They are seeking a motivated Machine Operative to join their busy production team. This is a high-tempo role designed for an individual who takes pride in precision and is eager to develop a long-term technical career.


The Role

This position involves managing the end-to-end processing of extruded aluminium. You will be responsible for:


    • Precision Cutting: Operating the extruded aluminium cutter and CNC saws.


      Quality Control: De-burring parts and checking the accuracy/quality of produced lengths against specifications.


      Workflow Management: Marking off completed jobs on Excel spreadsheets before loading and initiating new production cycles.

      Technical Growth: Progressing over time to learn CAM program loading and varied skills across the manufacturing process.


    Candidate Requirements

    While experience in a production or  engineering environment is preferred, a positive attitude and a desire to learn are equally important.




      • High level of attention to detail and a high standard of finish.


      • Reliability, excellent timekeeping, and a hardworking ethic.


      • Basic computer literacy for job tracking.


      • Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative in a factory environment.
