HGV Drivers

Our prestigious client, based at London Heathrow Airport, is currently seeking HGV Class 2 Airside Drivers to join their dynamic and expanding team.

Benefits for HGV Class 2 Drivers:

• Entry-level pay rate: £15.31 per hour / £31,800 per year
• Overtime rates:
  • Monday–Friday: £21.55 per hour
  • Weekends/Bank Holidays: £28.74 per hour
• Full-time hours with regular overtime available
• Flexible pay options: weekly or monthly
• Work–life balance: 4 on / 2 off shift pattern
• Free parking in a ULEZ-free zone

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating HGV Class 2 vehicles within Heathrow Airport (full airside training provided)
• Delivering and collecting airfreight cargo to and from aircraft
• Loading and unloading palletised freight using specialist equipment
• Ensuring strict adherence to airside and safety regulations

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum age 21+ (insurance requirement)
• Valid UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• Previous HGV driving experience (airside experience desirable but not essential)
• A clean criminal record (DBS check required)
• Ability to work early and late shifts on a 4 on / 2 off rota
• Ability to pass a driver medical and colour-vision assessment
