HGV Class 2 Driver – Short Distance Driving

What Drivers Can Expect
• £15.31 per hour starting pay
• High overtime rates to boost your earnings:
      o Monday–Friday: £21.55 per hour
      o Weekends & Bank Holidays: £28.74 per hour
• Guaranteed full-time hours with regular overtime available
• Weekly or monthly pay options
• 4 on / 2 off shift pattern giving you regular days off
      o Shifts starting as early as 05:00 and finishing as late as 00:00
• Short-distance driving only – no long-haul routes
• No public road driving – all driving is within the airport airside area
• Free on-site parking in a ULEZ-free location
• Full airside driver training provided

The Role
• Driving HGV Class 2 vehicles within Heathrow Airport airside
• Moving cargo and freight between airport warehouses and aircraft
• Positioning vehicles safely in restricted airside areas
• Assisting with loading and unloading palletised freight using specialist equipment
• Following airport safety, driving, and security procedures

What We’re Looking For
• Minimum age 21 (insurance requirement)
• Full UK manual driving licence
• Maximum 6 penalty points
• Minimum 4–6 months HGV Class 2 driving experience
• Ability to pass a DBS background check
• Comfortable working early and late shifts on a 4 on / 2 off rota
• Must pass a driver medical and colour vision test
• Previous airside driving experience is beneficial but not required
