We’re working with a growing engineering consultancy in Birmingham, who are looking to expand their team with the addition of a Civil Engineer.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in infrastructure design, particularly in drainage and highways.
What you’ll be doing:
- Producing detailed designs for highways, drainage, and earthworks schemes
- 3D surface modelling and hydraulic drainage design using Civils 3D & Flow
- Supporting the preparation and approval of S278, S38, S104, and S106
- Attending client, contractor, and local authority meetings as a project representative
- Assisting in the preparation of Flood Risk Assessments and SuDS strategies
- Collaborating closely with senior engineers, contractors, and design teams
- 5+ years’ UK experience in infrastructure or civil engineering consultancy
- Proficient in Civils3D, AutoCAD and drainage software (Microdrainage, Flow)
- Working knowledge of highways and drainage approval (S278, S104, etc.)
- Experience working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
