Job Description

Experienced Warehouse Shift Supervisor

Cumbernauld              ~          Day shift

Pay Rate                     ~          Between £15.00 and £17.50

Training                      ~          Gist and Pertemps

Live Date                    ~          ASAP

Day shift                     ~          09:30 - 1900 - with flexibility

Proposed shifts          ~          Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday

Working with             ~          Site Management & Pertemps Colleagues

Requirements:

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a Chilled Warehouse centre environment.
Strong skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Sound knowledge of people management.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues across departments.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all agency warehouse activities on the Day/Night shift.
Cross fertilisation of working with Pertemps and client support.
Ensure all relevant H&S PPE is being worn correctly.
Supervise and lead warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high levels of performance and productivity.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies to create a safe working environment for all agency warehouse employees.
Coordinate and support other departments to fulfil orders, resolve issues, and maintain seamless communication and workflow.
Ensure fulfilment is achieved on a shift-by-shift basis. Ensuring a working rota is completed and followed in conjunction with Client/Pertemps requirements.
Organise Monthly surgeries.
