First Line IT Support Technician
๐Ÿ“ Location: Hybrid โ€“ 2 days in the office, 3 days working from home
๐Ÿ•’ Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00โ€“17:30 (40 hours/week)
๐Ÿ“… Contract: Temporary โ€“ 4 to 5 weeks

Are you passionate about tech and great with people? ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿ’ป Weโ€™re looking for a First Line IT Support Technician to step in on a short-term basis and help keep things running smoothly. Youโ€™ll be the friendly first point of contact for technical support, helping customers stay connected while resolving their IT issues quickly and professionally.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Your responsibilities:
  • Answer tech-related queries via phone & email
  • Troubleshoot network and connectivity issues
  • Log and manage support tickets accurately
  • Escalate complex issues to 2nd line support
  • Liaise with engineers and schedule service calls
  • Support growth by recommending services where relevant
๐ŸŽฏ Weโ€™re looking for:
  • Tech-savvy mindset (routers, systems, mobile devices)
  • Calm under pressure and highly organised
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Prior experience in tech support or helpdesk roles
๐Ÿ“š Extra knowledge thatโ€™s a plus:
  • Familiarity with VoIP, SIP, or IP networking
  • Experience with SolarWinds, cnMaestro, or SamKnows
  • Understanding of fibre and wireless networks (training provided!)
