EHCP Trainer – Surrey
Location: Surrey
Rate: £440 per day
Contract: Interim / Temporary

About the Role Pertemps is working with a Local Authority in Surrey seeking an experienced EHCP Trainer to join their team. The post will work directly across both Education and Children’s Services, ensuring business systems are fit for purpose, relevant, and efficiently used across the department.
The successful candidate will play a key role in providing induction and training to system users, ensuring they are confident and capable in using electronic information systems effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver induction and training sessions for system users to promote effective use of electronic information systems.
  • Work closely with the Performance and Systems Manager to respond to national and local initiatives, legislation, and best practice.
  • Lead on system development projects, providing end-to-end solutions to business challenges.
  • Liaise with managers and system users to develop, test, and implement new recording and reporting tools.
  • Contribute to large-scale projects and lead on smaller initiatives, ensuring delivery within agreed timescales and budgets.
  • Promote the use of information systems across Education and Children’s Services to enhance service delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Degree qualified or equivalent vocational experience.
  • Professional qualification or demonstrable knowledge of relevant business disciplines.
  • Comprehensive understanding of computerised business systems, functionality, and configuration.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven project management experience with the ability to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Experience supporting Education or Children’s Services teams is desirable.
