Pertemps are currently recruiting for experienced Social Workers to join the Family & Intervention teams.

The Role:
As a Social Worker within the Family & Intervention Team, you will manage a caseload of children and families requiring support under Child in Need, Child Protection and pre-proceedings frameworks. The focus of the role is safeguarding, risk management and delivering positive, sustainable outcomes for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertaking statutory assessments and visits
• Developing and reviewing child-focused care and safety plans
• Managing Child in Need and Child Protection cases
• Preparing reports for court where required
• Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners
• Ensuring all practice is in line with current legislation and statutory guidance

Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
• Experience within safeguarding or family intervention teams
• Strong assessment, analytical and report writing skills
• Ability to manage a complex caseload effectively
