£544.80 per day

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Appeals Officer to join a SEND team on a fully remote basis.
This is a senior-level role requiring significant experience in SEND mediation and Tribunal work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and progressing SEND appeals
• Representing the Local Authority at mediation and SENDIST Tribunal hearings
• Preparing detailed case files and gathering robust evidence
• Liaising with families, schools and professionals
• Undertaking senior-level casework and providing expert advice

Requirements:

• Extensive experience within a SEND Team
• Strong mediation and SEND Tribunal (SENDIST) experience
• Proven ability to prepare high-quality evidence and statements
• Confident representing the Local Authority at hearings
