Occupational Therapist – Front Door Team North London Local Authority
Up to £38 per hour
Hybrid working – 2–3 days per week in the office

We are currently working with a North London Local Authority that is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their Front Door Team on a locum basis.

This role sits within the initial point of contact for Adult Social Care, where you will be responsible for completing timely assessments, triaging new referrals, and ensuring residents receive appropriate support and interventions as early as possible.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake Occupational Therapy assessments following new referrals
• Provide early intervention, equipment provision, and recommendations for adaptations
• Complete moving and handling assessments and risk assessments
• Work closely with social workers and multidisciplinary teams
• Support service users to maintain independence and safe living within the community

Requirements

• Qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration
• Experience working within Adult Social Care or a Local Authority setting
• Strong knowledge of equipment, adaptations, and strengths-based assessments
• Ability to work within a fast-paced front door or duty service
